Like being at the Neverland Ranch

Michael Jacksons music has been a big big big influence in my life. I'll never grow out of my obsession with his music. No matter how strange he might be, he has redefined and shaped the music industry. His music has shaped me and to be honest put me on the path that eventually led me to where I am right now; in California pursuing an education that will eventually land me in the music industry. Music is so powerful. It has everything and can accomplish anything. Michael Jackson delivers and interprets music better than anyone else I've ever come across. To me, anyway.
This live performance gives me goose bumps and gives me boosts of energy that are so strong. I don't know what it is it's just... really f***ing cool.



So, what I'm trying to get to is that today I found out that Michael Jackson is putting up most of his belongings from the Neverland Ranch for auction in April. There is an exhibition the days prior to the auction and GUESS who will be there? :) Frida! Moi! Jag! Me! The ultimate thing would be to buy some memorabilia and bring home. We'll see what the prices are. I know I'm crazy.. we'll see what happens :)

Talked to Marcus today again. I am in shock after understanding what room we'll be staying in at the Wynn. I will get back to you with pictures when we've been there. Words won't do it!

Went on to Jamba Juice to get a smoothie with a "Heart Happy" boost. On to Ralphs where we bought ingredients for scones. They were gooooooood! Now it's time for studying so I ace another test tomorrow in school ;)

It's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! Very excited :) No wait - I'm VERY excited!!!! Me and Marcus had so much fun the last time we went to Vegas, I know it'll only get even better this time. We haven't seen each other for a YEAR, other than those few days in May.

Relaxing by the pool is never wrong. How do I make up my mind though.... do I wanna be in the rectangular part, or any of the circles? ;) It's a hard knock life!
As usual we'll be gambling, going for those slot machines! I LOVE SLOT MACHINES!!!!

No matter how cool and exciting all the luxury is, it's only icing on the cake. The CAKE is my man! I could stay in a cave, as long as I get to be with him again. I am SO happy he's finally coming home.

The dentist is not my friend

Major problem. My wisdom tooth on the left side decided to grow horizontally. What have I done to deserve this??!?? It's growing INTO the tooth next to it. I'll just pretend it's not happening, and that frantically washing my mouth with Listerine will make it go away. Not that Listerine will make this serious, life threatening condition go away, but denial is a pretty strong human state of mind :)

My amazing man called me today. His laugh makes me feel things I've never felt before, and I'm so grateful that he'll be safe in a matter of weeks. Actually, in exactly three weeks TODAY, he's taking me to Las Vegas :) A romantic get away after being away from each other for a little more than a year. Could I be any happier? My man is COMING HOME :)

I'm watching the NAACP Awards, eating carrots and studying. Exciting, huh? Beyoncé performed her new song "Halo"... I'm not completely convinced yet when it comes to that song. I think she's making it too complicated with all the high notes. It sort of takes away the simplicity and message of the lyrics. Anyway, Sean Combs (the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy) got an award and I was surprised by how humbled and truly shocked he was.... I thought he had won it all already? Could be good acting, but that's the thing, I really don't think it was... Go DIDDY!

Seal is on stage now. He can SING! I wish he wouldn't have borrowed Heidi Klums nail polish though! Nail polish or not, Seal and Heidi prove what I already knew; black and white together make some REALLY cute kids ;)

Kitchen mishap!

Sometimes I feel bad for the family that I'll have one day and the food they'll be forced to eat. An hour ago I started boiling eggs. An hour ago. That's a tiny bit too long, or what do you think? :)

The Mysterious Box - part 2

So, the box is opened! The box itself was a puzzle, and pieces of wood could be moved to unveil the hidden key hole and secret key. It wasn't just any old jewelry box, it was a riddle, in the shape of a box :) It was romantic and I loved what was in the box! I've never been given a gift like this and I'm so lucky to have found this man.
Only a few more weeks to go and then we'll be together again :)
